Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HashPrism ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of HashPrism, an individually operated project at hashprism.com.

2. Description of Service

HashPrism is a product hosting and storefront platform built on the Solana network. It uses the Solana Pay protocol as its payment rail, enabling creators to sell digital products, services, and more with direct-to-wallet checkout. The Service provides:

• Product listing and management
• Payment processing via Solana Pay (QR code and wallet connect)
• Public storefronts for creators
• Embeddable payment widgets
• Refund processing
• Webhook notifications and email alerts
• A creator dashboard for tracking payments and revenue

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use HashPrism. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including laws regarding cryptocurrency transactions.

5. Accounts

To use HashPrism as a creator, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• Maintaining the security of your Solana wallet and private keys
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

HashPrism never has access to your wallet private keys. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet.

6. Platform Fees

HashPrism charges a 0.99% platform fee on every transaction. This fee is collected atomically as part of each payment transaction on the Solana blockchain:

• Payments: 0.99% of the payment amount is sent to the HashPrism platform wallet. The remaining 99.01% goes directly to the creator.
• Refunds: When a creator initiates a refund, a 0.99% refund fee is charged to the creator. The buyer receives the refund amount minus this fee.

Blockchain network fees (gas/priority fees) are paid by the transaction signer (buyer for payments, creator for refunds) and are separate from the HashPrism platform fee.

We reserve the right to modify the platform fee with 30 days' advance notice. Fee changes will not affect transactions already in progress.

7. Payments and Transactions

All payments are processed on the Solana blockchain. HashPrism does not custody, hold, or manage user funds at any time. Payments are transferred directly from the buyer's wallet to the creator's wallet.

Key terms:

• Transactions are final once confirmed on the Solana blockchain
• SOL-denominated payments are converted from USD at the market rate at the time the payment is initiated. Payment requests expire after 15 minutes to limit price volatility risk.
• HashPrism verifies transaction amounts and recipients on-chain before confirming payments
• We are not responsible for failed transactions due to insufficient funds, network issues, or wallet errors

8. Refunds

Creators may issue refunds for confirmed payments through the HashPrism dashboard. Refund terms:

• Refunds are initiated by the creator, not HashPrism
• A 0.99% refund fee is deducted from the refund amount and charged to the creator
• Partial refunds are not supported
• Refunds are processed on the Solana blockchain and are irreversible once confirmed
• The creator must sign the refund transaction with their wallet

HashPrism does not mediate disputes between buyers and creators. Buyers should contact the creator directly regarding refund requests.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use HashPrism to:

• Sell illegal products or services in your jurisdiction
• Engage in fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing
• Violate intellectual property rights of third parties
• Distribute malware, phishing content, or harmful materials
• Manipulate or abuse the payment system
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent platform rules
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the Service without permission
• Sell regulated financial products, securities, or gambling services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

10. Intellectual Property

The HashPrism name, logo, and platform design are the property of HashPrism. Creators retain full ownership of their product listings and content. By using the Service, you grant HashPrism a limited license to display your products on your public storefront and in embeddable widgets.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Danger Zone. Account deletion permanently removes:

• Your profile and account data
• All products you created
• All payment and refund records
• All webhooks and webhook event logs

On-chain blockchain data (transaction records) cannot be deleted by anyone and will persist permanently.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited activity, or if required by law. We will attempt to notify you before termination when reasonably possible.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. HashPrism does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The Solana blockchain will function as expected at all times
• SOL/USD price conversions will be perfectly accurate
• Transactions will always be processed successfully

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HashPrism shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of funds due to wallet compromise or user error
• Price volatility between payment creation and transaction confirmation
• Blockchain network outages or congestion
• Third-party service failures (Solana, Supabase, etc.)
• Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the total platform fees you have paid to HashPrism in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HashPrism harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
